The King of Kings, the Prince of Peace: A Lifelong Cry of Faith and Hope

There is a cry in my heart that grows louder with every passing year: Believe in Jesus while there is still time. We are not guaranteed tomorrow. And though we live in a world full of noise, distractions, and delay, there is one truth that still matters most: Jesus is coming again.

He came once to save us; He will come again to reign. And between those two glorious truths, we live our days, choosing, moment by moment, whether we will believe, follow, and prepare our hearts for His return.

“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given… and His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6 (NKJV)

I share this not just as a believer, but as someone who feels the deep ache of this world and the urgent beauty of the Gospel. There’s still time… but perhaps not as much as we think.

The Light That Pierces the Darkness

Jesus didn’t come into a perfect world, He came into one shrouded in sin, war, oppression, and fear. And yet, He came as light. Real, radiant, undeniable light.

“When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy.” Matthew 2:10 (NKJV)
“The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light…” Isaiah 9:2 (NKJV)

That light still shines. And it calls us out of the shadows, out of complacency, out of self-reliance. Because one day, the light will return in glory and we must be ready to meet Him.

The Prophets’ Promise: The Coming Son

God did not leave the world without warning. Through the prophets, He whispered and thundered the same message: A Savior is coming. Be ready. And He came, just as foretold.

“Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows.” Isaiah 53:4 (NKJV)

But prophecy also speaks of His return. The Bible tells us to watch and pray, to live as those prepared for the Bridegroom’s arrival.

The question that presses on my heart is this: Are we watching? Are we ready?

A Lifelong Cry: “Believe in Him”

Faith isn’t a once-and-done checkbox. It’s a cry of the soul, a declaration that becomes our song in every season. But it must begin. And it must be real. This isn’t about religious tradition, it’s about your eternity.

“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved…you and your household.” Acts 16:31 (NIV)
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us…” 1 John 1:9 (NKJV)

There will come a day when that opportunity will pass and when the door of grace will shut like it did in Noah’s time. We don’t know when our last heartbeat will be. But we know this: today is the day of salvation. (2 Corinthians 6:2)

Freedom from Darkness: Walking in the Light

Christ didn’t just forgive our sins. He invited us into a new way of living. A life of holiness, grace, and light. But we can’t walk in both darkness and light. We must choose.

“You are the light of the world.” Matthew 5:14 (NKJV)
“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” John 1:5 (ESV)

We are here for a reason—to reflect His light, to love with His heart, and to point others to Him while there’s still time. One day, the lights of this world will fade. But His light will shine forever. Let’s walk in it now.

The Child Who Bears Our Scorn

Jesus wasn’t just born to teach or inspire. He came to suffer. He came to die. Not because He had to, but because He chose to out of love.

“He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows…” Isaiah 53:3 (NIV)
“But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8 (NIV)

That love is still calling. Still reaching. But one day, it will no longer be an offer…it will be a memory. Don’t wait until it’s too late to receive the mercy that cost Him everything.

Hope That Battles On

Our world is full of unrest: wars, hatred, confusion, and fear. But my heart still beats with hope, because I know whom I have believed. Jesus doesn’t remove all storms, but He anchors us through them.

“Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.” Psalm 31:24 (NIV)
“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.” Hebrews 10:23 (NIV)

If there was ever a time to cling to hope, it’s now. Not false hope in politics or possessions, but living hope in Christ alone. Let that be your battle cry before it’s too late to make a stand.

The Promise of Peace and Love

Every longing of the human heart: peace, security, love, healing, is found in Jesus. But He doesn’t force His peace on us. He offers it. We must receive it.

“Peace I leave with you… Do not let your hearts be troubled…” John 14:27 (NIV)
“And the peace of God… will guard your hearts and minds…” Philippians 4:7 (NIV)

Many are searching everywhere for peace, but they overlook the cross. Friend, the door is still open, but it won’t stay open forever. Come while there is still time.

Trusting in God’s Majesty and Power

This world often feels like it’s spinning out of control. But God is not shaken. He is still enthroned, still sovereign, still holy. His justice is coming and so is His Son.

“In God I have put my trust; I shall not be afraid.” Psalm 56:11 (KJV)
“The Lord is at your right hand… He will judge the nations…” Psalm 110:5-6 (NIV)

We can trust Him now, or face Him later. My prayer is that we choose the mercy of the Cross today, before we stand before the throne tomorrow.

Our Song of Praise: Grace and Peace

When Christ returns, every knee will bow. Every tongue will confess. But those who believed before that day will sing not in fear, but in joy.

“And every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:11 (NKJV)

That’s the song I want to sing now…with my life, my words, my worship. There’s still time to join that song. But the chorus won’t last forever. One day, the final verse will come.

A Personal Reflection

I don’t share these things to frighten yo, but because I love you. Jesus changed my life. He rescued me from fear, pride, confusion, and sin. And He’s coming again.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28 (NIV)

He’s calling. Not in anger, but in love. I hear it in my spirit more often now… Come while there’s still time. Trust Me while grace still flows. Live for Me while it matters most.

Your Invitation

If you’ve been putting off faith… please don’t wait any longer. If you’ve been wondering, “Is He real? Does He care?” The answer is YES. If your heart is longing for something the world cannot give, it’s Jesus you’re longing for.

“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.” Acts 16:31 (NIV)

He’s coming again, this time, he’s coming for His saints, for His bride, for those who said YES. I want you to be among them. There is still time. But not forever.

So whisper it now: “Jesus, I believe in You. Forgive me. Save me. I want to walk in Your light and be ready when You return.”

Let this be the beginning of new life, a real life. And if you already believe, let this message stir you to urgency, worship, and witness. There’s a world that still needs hope, and a Savior who is coming soon.

Grace and peace to you…until He comes.

Jesus is first in my life, and as a result, my existence in this world is bearable; I want nothing less than every day of my life to bring Him glory. I'm continuously watching and praying for Him to come again. “I desire to share the Kingdom of God with anyone who will listen (Matthew 28:19–20), because time is short and Jesus will call His people home before the coming Tribulation (1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; 1 Corinthians 15:51–52; Revelation 3:10). I cherish the beauty of the world He created for us (Genesis 1:31; Psalm 19:1), and though Scripture tells us that this present earth will one day pass away and be renewed (2 Peter 3:10–13; Revelation 21:1), I want to honor His creation and care for it well until He calls us to meet Him in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:17).” I love people, animals, birds, trees (I'm a tree hugger), flowers (roses are my favorite), the snow, the rain, the wind, and the sunshine. I realize how blessed I am to live now and be born in a country that allows freedom of speech and religion! Free to share my thoughts and illumination. I also realize that there are consequences to everything I share with you, so I'll always ask God's wisdom while writing and before I publish. ALL questions are welcome! I can't promise I'll be able to give you the answer you want, but I'll answer honestly and with scriptures from the Bible. I use many different Bible translations as my resources. The NIV, NKJV, the KJV, and the HCSB are a few.
