Your answer to this question is probably the most telling of your relationship with our Father in Heaven and humanity. If you care more about things than you do people, what are you thinking? I’m going to start out by using Scripture to show you why people are so special to the Father… and that…… Continue reading Do You LOVE & CHERISH Things instead of People?
Author: Grace ~ DLM
Jesus is first in my life, and as a result, my existence in this world is bearable; I want nothing less than every day of my life to bring Him glory. I'm continuously watching and praying for Him to come again. “I desire to share the Kingdom of God with anyone who will listen (Matthew 28:19–20), because time is short and Jesus will call His people home before the coming Tribulation (1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; 1 Corinthians 15:51–52; Revelation 3:10). I cherish the beauty of the world He created for us (Genesis 1:31; Psalm 19:1), and though Scripture tells us that this present earth will one day pass away and be renewed (2 Peter 3:10–13; Revelation 21:1), I want to honor His creation and care for it well until He calls us to meet Him in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:17).”
I love people, animals, birds, trees (I'm a tree hugger), flowers (roses are my favorite), the snow, the rain, the wind, and the sunshine. I realize how blessed I am to live now and be born in a country that allows freedom of speech and religion! Free to share my thoughts and illumination. I also realize that there are consequences to everything I share with you, so I'll always ask God's wisdom while writing and before I publish. ALL questions are welcome! I can't promise I'll be able to give you the answer you want, but I'll answer honestly and with scriptures from the Bible. I use many different Bible translations as my resources. The NIV, NKJV, the KJV, and the HCSB are a few.
Spiritual Warfare
Put on the Armor of God and PRAY, PRAY, PRAY!!! We’re in a mighty battle! Have you ever thought of yourself as a soldier? Paul tells Timothy in 2 Timothy 2:3-4 (KJV) Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life;…… Continue reading Spiritual Warfare
Fasting and Praying
The definition of fasting is to go without food for a designated period of time. Jesus fasted 40 days and nights and we assume that it was from food and not from water as the Bible specifically states that “He hungered”. It doesn’t say that He thirsted. Reminds me of the woman at the well…… Continue reading Fasting and Praying
This is Amazing Grace!
Saved by Grace! Jesus is GRACE, our Gift from Our Father in Heaven! Romans 5:15-17 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath…… Continue reading This is Amazing Grace!
The “LAW” is the “KEY” to the “Knowledge of Sin”
I’m using the King James Version for my quoted Bible verses in this blog. Have you ever lost your keys? That without the key, you couldn’t open the door to your home or start the engine on your car? You can’t open that chest or box where you keep special things. In other words, in…… Continue reading The “LAW” is the “KEY” to the “Knowledge of Sin”
