This World is a Dangerous Place!

God has given us the solution: His Son Jesus Messiah – Yeshua HaMashiach!

As we approach the anticipated return of Jesus the Messiah – Yeshua HaMashiach, the spiritual warfare escalates, marking an increase in activity from our adversary Satan (the devil) and his demonic forces. They aim to undermine and destroy those who eagerly anticipate the coming of our Lord and Savior, Jesus – Yeshua. This spiritual conflict is not confined to a specific region but is a global phenomenon. We can observe an intense surge in evil activity every passing day, which is evident not only in America but also worldwide. The current escalation in evil activity is a solemn reminder of the ongoing spiritual battle foretold in biblical prophecy, compelling believers to remain steadfast in faith and prepared for the challenges ahead.

1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Ephesians 6:11-18 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

The “GOOD NEWS” is this: as Christians, our allegiance transcends earthly boundaries. We are not merely citizens of America or any earthly nation; our true citizenship resides in the heavenly realm!

Philippians 3:20-21 (NKJV) For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.

In the current state of the world, the influence of Satan’s deception is evident as various forms of evil proliferate. Leaders who claim authority promote ideologies and policies that stand in opposition to the principles of God. These powers prioritize materialism, fostering a culture of consumerism that values possessions above spiritual growth. Furthermore, self-indulgence runs rampant, with individuals pursuing unchecked gratification of their desires at the expense of moral integrity. Sexual ethics are disregarded, with practices such as adultery, fornication, and homosexuality becoming normalized and even celebrated. Additionally, the sanctity of life is undermined, with murder disguised as euthanasia and abortion touted as expressions of freedom of choice. The resurgence of witchcraft and sorcery further illustrates society’s departure from God’s truth.

Moreover, while offering potential benefits, technological advancements are often exploited to manipulate and control individuals through social platforms. Environmental concerns are sometimes exaggerated or mismanaged, adding to the anxiety and fear already prevalent in society. The myriad of societal ills we face today is staggering, with the consequences touching every aspect of human existence. In this turbulent landscape, the faithful are called to discernment and vigilance, standing firm in their commitment to God’s principles amidst the prevailing moral decay.

Isaiah 5:20 (KJV) Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

The Bible provides reassurance through its repeated exhortation to “fear not,” particularly in the context of physical harm inflicted by humanity. Both the Old and New Testaments emphasize the importance of rejecting a spirit of fear and instead living in faith and trusting God’s providence.

In the Old Testament, numerous passages convey the message of courage in the face of adversity. For example,

Psalm 27:1 declares, “The LORD is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?”

Similarly:

Isaiah 41:10 assures believers, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

In the New Testament, Jesus Himself repeatedly encourages His followers not to be afraid:

Living without fear does not mean disregarding caution or prudence; rather, it means trusting in God’s sovereignty and provision, even in the face of uncertainty or danger. It involves acknowledging that God is in control and that He will ultimately work all things together for the good of those who love Him:

Romans 8:28  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Therefore, the biblical injunction to “fear not” reminds believers to maintain a perspective of faith, courage, and trust in God’s unfailing protection and guidance, even in the midst of life’s challenges and trials.

2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV)For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

To clarify, a thorough study of the Scriptures reveals two distinct meanings of the term “fear.” One context pertains to the apprehension or dread we may experience in anticipation of bodily harm or danger. The other, often referred to as the “Fear of the Lord,” denotes a profound reverence and respect towards our Heavenly Father and His Word, embodied in the person of Jesus-Yeshua.

The fear associated with bodily harm is a natural human response to threats to our physical well-being. Throughout the Bible, individuals faced perilous situations that stirred fear, yet they were encouraged to trust God’s protection and deliverance. This type of fear is temporal and situational, arising from our finite understanding and vulnerability as mortal beings.

In contrast, the Fear of the Lord transcends mere apprehension and encompasses a deep reverence for God’s holiness, wisdom, and authority. It reflects an attitude of awe and humility towards the Almighty Creator, acknowledging His sovereignty over all creation.

Proverbs 9:10 (KJV) The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

Furthermore, the Fear of the Lord entails obedience to His commands and a sincere devotion to His Word. This reverence for God’s Word finds its ultimate embodiment in Jesus-Yeshua, who came to reveal the Father’s will and demonstrate perfect obedience to it.

Psalm 112:1 Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

While fear of bodily harm is a natural instinct, the Fear of the Lord represents a spiritual posture characterized by reverence, obedience, and devotion to God and His Word. By understanding and embracing these distinct meanings of fear, believers can cultivate a deeper relationship with their Heavenly Father and walk in His ways with humility and reverence.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

When Jesus – Yeshua comes, He will arrive as the ultimate herald of hope, poised to extinguish the long-standing reign of terror that Satan has ruthlessly inflicted upon the planet since the fateful fall of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. With divine authority, He will bind Satan for 1,000 years, ushering in an era of unparalleled peace and righteousness. When the Kingdom on Earth is established, His presence will radiate boundless love and justice, transforming the world into a reflection of divine grace. This anticipated reign offers the promise of freedom from the chains of darkness.

Titus 2:13 (KJV) Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ;

1 John 2:28 (KJV) And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

God means what He says and says what He means! My hermeneutics are “literal”. With that being said, take the initiative to study the scriptures yourself and make your own decisions! Pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Does YHWH’s Truth Change?

Psalm 119:160 The entirety of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous judgments endure forever.

Isaiah 40:8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

Hebrews 3:18 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Where are the Pastors who are compelled to tell us the TRUTH? After all, aren’t they our shepherds on this earth and isn’t it their job to guide the flocks to safety and the TRUTH? JESUS – YESHUA is our GOOD SHEPHERD! He laid down his life for his lost sheep and is overjoyed when just one is saved. Have the Pastors forgotten that the flock they are shepherding doesn’t belong to them..the flock belongs to Jesus? In a world that’s so full of lies, hypocrisies and evil. Shouldn’t a Pastor be willing to stand up for the TRUTH according to YHWH’s Word? Shouldn’t your Pastor tell you the TRUTH no matter what you believe? We live in a world where people have decided that they have the right to their own TRUTH!, There’s only ONE TRUTH and that’s YHWH’S TRUTH! Jesus is The WAY, THE TRUTH and THE LIFE. Jesus is the LORD over ALL! How can we as the Children of YHWH turn our attention to the world and what the world wants and expects? Shouldn’t we be in prayer asking the Holy Spirit to guide us to what our Heavenly Father wants? Guide us to what is HIS TRUTH?

1 John 2:15-17 Do not love the world or the things that belong to the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in him. 16 For everything that belongs to the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride in one’s lifestyle—is not from the Father, but is from the world. 17 And the world with its lust is passing away, but the one who does God’s will remains forever.

As Christians, we have been distracted from the TRUTH of YHWH by the filthiness of the world! We’ve been entrenched and totally distracted by the world, Satan the “father of lies” has successfully diverted our attention away from YHWH! Our eyes are now focused on all of the matters that have nothing to do with our Salvation or the Will of YHWH. There’s people protesting, arguing and screaming about their rights, people who claim to be Christian and not giving a thought to the TRUTH of YHWH. All around us, there’s hate and dissension about “pro-choice”, “politics”, “political correctness”, “pro-gay and transgender”, “climate change”, the “economy”, “gun control”, “immigration”, civil rights”, “bullying”, “healthcare” and last but not least, the “Covid-19 virus” (which has intensified all of the distractions). I recognize that I’ve only begun the list of distractions that Satan has laid before us. All of the above mentioned are a sad example and a testimony to the state of a nation and a world that has thrown YHWH – Our Heavenly Father and the Love of Jesus Messiah to the curb. We’ve become so preoccupied with these distractions that most don’t even think about putting Jesus into the situation. Praying for YHWH to intervene and forgive us as a nation, begging for mercy; because “WE DON’T DESERVE IT!” Why aren’t we asking Heavenly Father to show us how Jesus would handle these things? What would Jesus do to make it better? If we’re to follow in the footsteps of Jesus, how would these issues be resolved? We are to reflect Jesus in our very existence…so why do we just say there’s nothing we can do about it? We’re too busy slinging mud and treating one another as if we are less than human…less than made in the IMAGE of YHWH!

Exodus 23:7 Stay far away from a false accusation. Do not kill the innocent and the just, because I will not justify the guilty.

Have you ever asked yourself how would Jesus handle “pro choice”? According to the Miriam Webster Dictionary the definition of pro choice: favoring the legalization of abortion. As a Christian, can we really close our eyes to murder of any kind, but even more so can we close our eyes and look the other way at the murder of the most innocent? I’ve lost count of how many Christians have told me that they’re not pro abortion, that they’re pro choice. Obviously, they don’t have a clue what platform they’re standing on. HOW CAN A CHRISTIAN be pro choice if it means shedding the blood of the innocent? How can a Pastor stand before his or her congregation and not say ‘LOUD and CLEAR” so there’s no mistaking it…that abortion is wrong and that we shouldn’t support anyone one who advocates “pro choice”? So if you oppose abortion, then you should also oppose any candidate that says, it’s a woman’s right or pro choice to kill her baby!

Why won’t our Pastors stand up and say that when we vote, we need to vote against “intrinsic evil”? Are they so afraid that half of the flock will get up and leave the church that they won’t speak YHWH’S TRUTH? Isn’t the facts that over 60 million babies have been murdered in this country since 1973 and over 1.5 billion around the world be enough to make them speak up? That 60 million is barely less than 1/6th of our current US population of 331 million – did you hear that? Almost 1/6 of our population of our country! Shouldn’t these statistics just torment our Pastor’s and fellow Christian’s hearts and minds with such pain and anguish that they’re willing and want to speak out against this injustice? Isn’t it time for us to talk with love and compassion to the people who wantonly stand on the side of evil? Is seeing the church pews filled and the almighty dollar in the collection plate blinding the Pastor’s from their duty to God and HIS FLOCK? Don’t they believe that when they stand up for YHWH’s TRUTH that he will fill the pews and pay the bills?

Then you hear the supporters of pro choice defend their position by asking…but what about rape and incest victims? However, if statistics are being brought into the conversation: LESS THAN 1% of ALL abortions are a result of rape or incest!!! The rest are elective…in 1973 the United States Supreme Court gave women the choice to murder their child and a huge number of Christians say it’s okay. I don’t believe YHWH’s TRUTH will justify any child being murdered because of how they were conceived. As a matter of fact, Heavenly Father makes it clear that he “HATES” the killing of the innocent.

Proverbs 6:16-18 The Lord hates six things;
in fact, seven are detestable to Him:
17 arrogant eyes, a lying tongue,
hands that shed innocent blood,
18 a heart that plots wicked schemes,
feet eager to run to evil,

Now don’t tell me that we aren’t an accomplice to it because we didn’t actually choose the abortion or condone the abortion. OUR HANDS ARE BLOODY because we’re not doing everything possible in our power to end it! So once again I ask the question: WHY WON’T OUR PASTORS SPEAK OUT?

So here’s a critical question for you: Do you really care about the unborn? Is it just rhetoric and lip service on the part of people who claim Christianity? Do our Pastors really care about this question or are they just paying lip service to YHWH! If they really cared about the unborn why aren’t they telling YHWH’S FLOCKS (congregations) that we HAVE to VOTE against EVIL?

Aren’t we ALL supposed to be good and faithful servants? Especially the Pastors who are helping to shepherd the flock so they can find their way to the LIGHT? To Find their way to the “NARROW GATE”? When we say Jesus is our Savior and that we want to follow HIM and obey HIM, why do we allow the secular world to get in the way of doing what’s right in the EYES of YHWH? Have we placed the lives of the unborn in the category of insignificance? Are those precious unborn barely an afterthought? Do we actually give them any thought at all?

Matthew 18:10 “See that you don’t look down on one of these little ones, because I tell you that in heaven their angels continually view the face of My Father in heaven.

What kind of testimony is it that the president of a nation has to sign an executive order to protect vulnerable newborn and infant children?

As a nation how do we bring Glory to YHWH when we allow this EVIL to continue?

1 Timothy 1:17 Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

We Must Stand Firm in the Word of YHWH!

The Bible, YHWH’s word, is the absolute truth.

ALL Scriptures are King James Version Bible.

There is only one truth! There’s no such entity as gray when it comes to YHWH’s word…there’s only black and white…plainly spoken so all who Love YHWH will understand. During the next few months, when the world of politics becomes “over-heated” as it does every 4 years, if we are truly followers of Jesus, we must plan on taking a deep breath and turning the other cheek! Matthew 5:38-39 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: 39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

As Christians, we need to recognize that YHWH is in charge all of the time! That we can argue about politics if that’s how we want to waste our time, but ultimately God chooses in order to carry out HIS WILL! In the meantime, because of our Christian outlook, we may be under attack and the attacks may be made by someone we feel close to and they may accuse us of not being Christian because we view an issue from a different perspective. They don’t see through the lens of the Bible as we do. They might say “if you really LOVE everyone, you’ll agree with me because I’m right” or “if you really LOVE everyone, you’ll not judge them”. They don’t realize the difference between judging someone and trying to counsel them by exhortation using the word of YHWH. 2 Timothy 4:2-5 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

If the person who’s trying to change our minds becomes belligerent or even attacks us with profanities, etc, we must not allow them to stir up anger in us. We need to forgive them and ask for the guidance of the Holy Spirit and truly think about “What would Jesus do?” 1 Peter 3:8-10 Now finally, all of you should be like-minded and sympathetic, should love believers, and be compassionate and humble, not paying back evil for evil or insult for insult but, on the contrary, giving a blessing, since you were called for this, so that you can inherit a blessing. 10 For the one who wants to love life and to see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit,

We need to keep in mind at all times that we are ALL made in the image of YHWH and that, we are ALL His children, no matter what our politics, no matter where we or they may stand on any of the issues. Luke 6:27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,

I’m not trying to say that everyone who doesn’t see the way you see hates you, but it may feel to you like they do. They may not even realize the pain they’ve caused you. Remember, that as long as we believe Jesus is the Son of YHWH and we obey YHWH; following the directives of His word, we’ll get through it…maybe a little bruised, but prayerfully and hopefully we’ll arrive at the end of it with a deeper and stronger conviction to share the WORD of YHWH through any and all means that He provides.

1 John 4:7–8 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

As Christians, we are accused of being callous because we disagree with certain lifestyles, perceived social injustices, many so called philosophies. But what they don’t understand is that a Christian still loves the person, but we hate the decisions they make and the life they’ve chosen. Not because we want to be unkind or put ourselves above them, but because we LOVE them and don’t want them to burn in HELL’s fire. When we’re accused of being unloving, maybe what the accuser doesn’t realize is that YHWH is not only LOVE, but he’s also the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE and everything in this fallen world that doesn’t line up with Scripture is wrong, NOT BECAUSE WE SAY it’s WRONG, but because HE says it’s wrong and when the Holy Spirit lives in us, we also recognize that it’s wrong. If it isn’t in sync with YHWH’s word, it’s a lie…and Jesus makes it clear that Satan is the father of lies. At every opportunity, Satan will take the truth and warp it out of shape until humans can’t see they are being deceived. This is why we need to turn to the Scriptures to seek the truth. Even Jesus faced adversity when He was on earth. Jesus spoke these words to the Pharisees and Scribes when they accused Him of being from the devil. John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

So what is the actual purpose of a Christian in this fallen world? Jesus tells us to LOVE YHWH with all our heart and to LOVE our NEIGHBOR as ourselves. So when we LOVE YHWH, we also believe, follow and obey His word. This is why HE gave us the Bible – His WORD, so there would be no misunderstandings. So if you haven’t opened your Bible lately…today is the day…
