Christians Doom others to an Eternity in HELL!

To put it in as simple of an explanation as I can…John 3:16-17 is the “GOSPEL“! Those who believe (Christians) are commanded to go into the nations and proclaim the Gospel to all who will hear. The Bible teaches that as the church we are the body of Christ. We are to love the people of the world! When we share the GOSPEL, we bring Glory to God and to His SON! We are here on this earth for this very purpose!

So why do we sit in the Pews on Sunday for 60-90 minutes and console ourselves that we have done our part? Whose “Glory” are we there for…ours or our Father in Heaven? How many hours are there in a week? There are 168 hours in a week! How many of those hours do you spend in “true worship” being amazed by the truths given to us by God? How many of those hours do you spend reading your Bible and getting to know your Father in Heaven? How many of those hours do you spend contemplating what you can do for the Glory of God and His SON? Once you leave the Church building, does God even cross your mind? How many hours do you share what the Son of God did for us on the Cross?

Therefore isn’t it selfish of a Christian to keep the “Love of Christ” and what He did for mankind to himself? Shouldn’t the Christian consider the consequences of the persons to whom he doesn’t share the Gospel with? If you read your Bible, you will see that this consequence is burning in Hell for eternity!

Romans 10:13-14 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

NOW don’t exclaim that you’re “NOT a PREACHER”! That’s a pretty shallow escape mechanism. Are you a follower of Christ? If so, you are to preach the Gospel! Keep in mind that today’s society is designed that a “preacher” needs to have a piece of paper from a theology school and give a sermon on Sunday, but that is not the way it has always been. Is the Holy Spirit living in YOU? If you are a follower of Christ, then you become a disciple of Christ…therefore, you are qualified to “preach the Gospel”because the Holy Spirit will guide you every step of the way.

Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus tells his followers, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.”

Qualities of discipleship include going to share the Good News to non-believers, teaching, loving God, loving others, standing out, denying ourselves, being firm in God’s word, fellowship with other believers, imitators of Christ, dedicated and steadfast.

So now I ask you…why don’t Christians share the Gospel? Sharing the Gospel is called Evangelism and it shouldn’t be scary…it’s simply sharing the Gospel with the world, whether the world is your next door neighbor or someone that you meet by chance in a grocery line or at a Doctor’s office. It could possibly be someone far far away that you many never actually meet in person (with the internet that’s a common scenario).

I can’t stress enough the importance of this blog…as it’s a call for Christians to actively engage in sharing the Gospel, which is a fundamental aspect of our faith. It underscores several key points:

  1. Evangelism: which is considered a crucial duty for ALL Christian denominations as it was commissioned by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It reminds Christians of their responsibility to spread the teachings of Jesus Christ and the message of salvation.
  2. Overcoming Fear: some Christians may have about sharing their faith. By stating that Evangelism shouldn’t be scary, it encourages believers to overcome their fears and take a more active role in sharing their beliefs.
  3. Universal Outreach: sharing the Gospel should be directed not just towards those in close proximity but to people encountered in various contexts, including online interactions. This reflects the idea that the message of Christianity should be and can be shared with a diverse audience. As with Esther 4:14…who knows, you may have been raised up by Heavenly Father “for such a time as this”!
  4. Contemporary Relevance: Mentioning the internet as a common scenario for Evangelism highlights the importance of adapting to modern communication methods. I suggest that Christians should use contemporary tools and platforms to share their faith effectively.

Overall, this is a reminder, a wake up call and an encouragement for Christians to engage in Evangelism, emphasizing its accessibility, relevance, and the need to overcome any reluctance to share the belief in Jesus-Yeshua as time is running out!

A Powerful Prayer

Prayer by Pastor Joe Wright

“Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says: ‘Woe to those who call evil good,’ but that is exactly what we have done.

We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and inverted our values.

We confess that we have ridiculed the absolute truth of Your Word and called it moral pluralism.

We have worshipped other gods and called it multi-culturalism.

We have endorsed perversion and called it an alternative lifestyle.

We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery.

We have neglected the needy and called it self-preservation.

We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare.

We have killed our unborn and called it choice.

We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable.

We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building esteem.

We have abused power and called it political savvy.

We have coveted our neighbors’ possessions and called it ambition.

We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression.

We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our fore-fathers and called it enlightenment.

Search us, Oh GOD, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from every sin and set us free.

Amen!”

2 Chronicles 7:14: “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land”

“Are You HIS People?”

1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light;

America is spiraling to HELL at a faster pace everyday! How much more will our Father in Heaven put up with? We need to remember “Sodom & Gomorrah” and recognize the path the people have chosen is leading us as a nation to destruction! Everyday that HE holds back His wrath gives us one more day to turn it around. As believers, we need to pray for forgiveness for our nation and beg Him to heal our land! But to be totally honest, in my heart of hearts I’m afraid it may be too late for America. I search the Scriptures and I find nothing that tells me that America even exists when Jesus – Yeshua comes back!

Thankfully, if we are blessed to wake up in the morning, it’s not too late for us to share the Gospel of Jesus the Messiah – Yeshua Ha Mashiach with one more person! The end is coming soon, so time is short, however, we’re told that when the “Fullness of the Gentiles” has happened, then Jesus will return to take us HOME with HIM! The more people we share the Gospel with… a neighbor, a stranger, a friend or family member, the sooner we will no longer be encumbered by this state of dual citizenship that we have to endure, but we will be citizens of the Kingdom and share in His Power and Glory.

HIS WAY…Not Our Way!

Isaiah 55:8-9 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Jeremiah 29:11-12 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. 12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.

To KNOW the LORD, we must read HIS WORD

How much time do you spend getting to know our Father in Heaven and the plans that he has for you? Be honest and ask yourself “how much time do I actually waste” in a day? How much time do you spend surfing the internet or browsing social media? How much time do you spend thinking about things that are not pure, or that you know for certain would offend a HOLY GOD? How much time do you spend in Prayer? How much time do you spend as an ambassador of/to Christ or to put it bluntly…when was the last time that you spoke to someone with the hopes and prayers of winning them to Christ? How many times have you… whether accidental or on purpose put yourself above others – whether it be in the way you dress, the car you drive or any other aspect of your life that makes you feel that you have it all together? Have you been a good steward of the gifts that God has given you? How many times have you exaggerated a situation to make it either look good or possibly worse than it actually was? Just how many so called harmless little white lies have you told within the last 24 hours? Are you a slave to the world or as Paul, are you a slave to our Lord? I could ask you to ask yourself many more questions, but what I’m getting at here is to show you how our thoughts and our ways are soooooo very different than those of our LORD and SAVIOR!

Do you embrace the greatest commandments given to us by JESUS – YESHUA?

Matthew 22:37-40 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.38 This is the first and great commandment.39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Mark 12:30-31 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

Deuteronomy 6:5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

As you can see, God is the same yesterday, today and forever. Although we live in different times than when these Scriptures were first written down, they’re alive and well in our age too! The verses spoken by Jesus – Yeshua in Matthew and Mark, were the same ones he spoke in the “Old Testament” Book of Deuteronomy several thousand years before he actually set foot on the Earth as a human, but he was also DEVINE. The point is that He does not change! Therefore if we study HIS WORD, we KNOW HIM! We need to have a wake up call listen when Jesus tell us that the Path to Destruction is Wide and the Path to Salvation is Narrow.

God means what He says and says what He means! My hermeneutics are “literal”, however, that being said…study the scriptures yourself and make up your own mind! Pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit…

WOE, WOE, WOE!

Scriptures tell us…. WOE” is not a good thing!

Mark 14:21 The Son of man indeed goeth, as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! good were it for that man if he had never been born.

Most of the prophets such as Isaiah, Jeremiah and Ezekiel used the term “WOE” frequently; the Blue Letter Bible website tells us that “woe” OR “woes“occurs 107 times in 98 verses in the KJV. Jesus used the term “WOE” 8 times in Matthew 23

Link to the Blue Letter Bible Website…very useful when studying Scripture.

WOE is generally the precursor to God’s Divine Judgement! Especially in the Old Testament, God says WOE to the inhabitants of Jerusalem when they worshiped Idols, the Philistines recognized WOE unto them when they had stolen the Ark of the Covenant, Job also stated that sin leads to WOE and in Revelation…WOE, WOE, WOE is a familiar phrase when the Angels declare the wrath of God.

The following are some definitions and uses of WOE:

The Dictionary of Bible Themes categorizes the uses of the word woe in the Bible: “Woe as an exclamation of judgment on others,” Woe means “grief, anguish, affliction, wretchedness, calamity, or trouble.” “Woe as an exclamation of misfortune on oneself,” “Woe as an exclamation of sadness over others,” “Woe may give way to forgiveness, comfort, and deliverance” Zondervan, 1999).Matthew 26:23–25 “The Son of Man goes, even as it is written of him, but woe to that man through whom the Son of Man is betrayed!

Anyway you look at it, it was a desperate time for the man Judas or as Jesus referred to him as “a devil”.

John 6: 70 Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?

Matthew 26:15 And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.

Matthew 27:3 Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,

Judas returned the 30 pieces of silver back to the chief priests when he heard that Jesus was condemned; he realized that he’d betrayed innocent blood.

Romans 3: 10-18 As it is written:
“There is none righteous, no, not one;
There is none who understands;
There is none who seeks after God.
They have all turned aside;
They have together become unprofitable;
There is none who does good, no, not one.”
“Their throat is an open tomb;
With their tongues they have practiced deceit”;
“The poison of asps is under their lips”;
“Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.”
“Their feet are swift to shed blood;
Destruction and misery are in their ways;
And the way of peace they have not known.”
“There is no fear of God before their eyes.”

Mark 14:21 is a clear reference to Judas and what was to follow when Judas betrayed Jesus. A man who’s destiny was to be intertwined with and is integral to “the story of salvation of us ALL when Yeshua shed His blood for our atonement and died on the cross for our sins”.

It’s not my place to say whether or not Judas is in Heaven or Hell and to be sure I’m not advocating for Judas, just like YOU and ME, he has only one advocate – Jesus – Yeshua. However, like all of us, he had the freedom to choose good or evil. Obviously Judas chose evil!

The purpose of this blog is to wake us up to the fact that consciously or unconsciously we are all guilty of judging our fellowman. If we go to the Scriptures, we find Jesus’s words and also in a letter to the Romans written by the Apostle Paul speaking to this matter:

Matthew 7:1-2 Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

Luke 6:37-38 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Romans 14:10-12 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

We all need to think twice before we take it upon ourselves to judge someone when ultimately we have NO RIGHT to make a judgement. We have only “ONE JUDGE” and he knows the content of our hearts. He alone only knows whether or not there is “true repentance” and He alone can judge fairly.

Judas had been able to hide his deceit from the other Apostles, but Jesus knew his heart and when Mary, the sister of Martha anointed him with fragrant expensive oil, Jesus knew why Judas was making a fuss about it:

John 12:5-6 Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor? This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein.

During the “Last Supper” before Jesus was crucified as the Passover Lamb, He stated clearly that there was one who was eating with them that would betray Him.

When Judas left Jesus – Yeshua and the disciples at the last Supper, he went to the Chief Priests to seek payment or reward for the betrayal of Jesus.

Matthew 26:11-14 Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests, 15 And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver. 16 And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him.

Matthew 26:21-25 And as they did eat, he said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me. 22 And they were exceeding sorrowful, and began every one of them to say unto him, Lord, is it I? 23 And he answered and said, He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish, the same shall betray me.24 The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.25 Then Judas, which betrayed him, answered and said, Master, is it I? He said unto him, Thou hast said.

Admittedly, there is NO ONE more guilty of shedding innocent blood as Judas was, it’s beyond us to think that we know whether or not, Jesus – Yeshua will intercede for him.

I’ve heard it said by some that Judas was a “pawn” in the scheme of the plan of God, but I prefer to believe that God does not use us as pawns, but as with His faithful servant Job, God will allow Satan to work his wiles on us, but only to a point and ultimately, we have been given the freedom to choose whom we will follow.

John 12:26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

Are YOU on the Side of GOD?

God means what He says and says what He means! My hermeneutics are “literal”, however, that being said…study the scriptures yourself and make up your own mind! Pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit…

Okay…You say that you’re a Christian! Do YOU study your Bible ~ God’s PLAYBOOK?

The WORD: the BIBLE is the supernatural inspiration of God and written down by 40 different writers…some are anonymous. Each reveals to us a version or a nuance of the same account: Creation, Fall and Redemption. Each account is a layer of God’s Truth woven into a tapestry that narrates history, faith and sacrifice. The Old Testament or the Tanakh informs and prepares us for the first coming of Jesus Messiah – Yeshua Ha Mashiach; it also eludes to the 2nd coming (especially in Zachariah). The New Testament tells about HIS arrival on earth, His mission and His Sacrifice; throughout it tells us of the second coming of Jesus and lays down the rules for the final conflict between HIM and HIS followers and Satan and his followers. In the meantime, In both Testaments, we are warned throughout Scripture and especially in the New Testament about the “god of this world” who is Satan the devil!

2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

If you haven’t chosen sides yet, you’re running out of time as we’re in the countdown to the end. Heavenly Father doesn’t want you or your church to be a fan club because we’re ALL Players here…NO FANS! Heavenly Father doesn’t want any bench sitters! HE doesn’t want the grandstands full! He wants to see us ALL out there sharing the Gospel of Jesus – Yeshua with everyone we meet until He comes!

Everyday, we’re all embroiled in a battle between good and evil. Every time we choose evil, we’re giving our life over to Satan and creating a rift between us and the Father. To be straight out honest, we’re choosing death instead of life.

Jesus already won the war on the cross! Now it’s a final battle for all of the souls that haven’t chosen sides yet and Satan will not admit defeat as long as there’s one person left on this earth for him to destroy; this is why when Jesus comes He awakens His dead and changes His living into Spiritual Beings. Once this has occurred, Satan can no longer hurt those who belong to Jesus .

Not only does mankind face this battle on a moment to moment basis, there’s a spiritual war that’s been going on since Adam and Eve chose to eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge. Satan and his angels have been in a non-stop spiritual battle with Michael and his angels…a battle that we can’t physically see, but it’s been going on since Lucifer (Satan the Devil) was cast out of Heaven and it’s still going on all around us!

Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Is your church your social club? Is Sunday the day that you go to the refueling station to get your sermon fix and then go right back to living the life that you’ve grown comfortable with – maybe a life that is ebbing away at your salvation and robbing you of the promise? Then, in my book, it’s time to make a change, it appears to me that you’re a bench sitter or a fan! Are you too “nice” to tell you family or friends about Jesus – Yeshua? Are you so “nice” that because of your silence, you’re willing to stand by and watch them die and go to Hell?

Don’t you know that you’re in a battle for your life and the lives of everyone you come into contact with? That’s why you need to stand up today and proclaim Jesus as your savior! You need to put on the armor of God and pray like you’ve never prayed before! There’s only one way for you to present yourself to Jesus. You need to demonstrate your faith by speaking up and sharing your testimony of Jesus – Yeshua:

John 16:8 When He comes, He will convict the world about sin, righteousness, and judgment:

Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

There’s NO TIME like the present time for you to be BOLD! Look this world straight in the eye and show the world that you have accepted Jesus as your Savior, then repent from your sins and start living your life for Jesus! Fall and your knees in LOVE and WORSHIP and ask HIM to show you THE WAY, THE TRUTH and THE LIFE!

We have to make a stand for Jesus and choose to be on God’s side in this great battle of God vs. Satan. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that God is the equal of Satan, what I’m saying is that Satan represents intrinsic evil and GOD is incomparable and HIS GOODNESS is something that we cannot fathom. God is HOLY and JUST and when we make the decision to live as God has taught us to live, HE saves us from the “power of darkness” and because of HIS SON, our redeemer, HE welcomes us to be part of “the Kingdom of the Son”.

Choose LIFE – Not Death!

God means what He says and says what He means! My hermeneutics are “literal”, however, that being said…study the scriptures yourself and make up your own mind! Pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit…

Do you live every single day of your life for Jesus?

If not, isn’t today the day to start?

John 12:26 If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me. Where I am, there My servant also will be. If anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.

Do you want to turn away from your sin? Do you want to not just turn, but RUN away from your sin? If this is the case, you’re most likely feeling the conviction of the Holy Spirit? Do you know which way to run? Do you feel that you’re not good enough because of the sinful life that you’ve lived and that possibly there’s no turning back? I sincerely plead with you to run to the arms of Salvation – Jesus Messiah – Yeshua Ha Mashiach! He didn’t just start loving you yesterday or today, HE has ALWAYS loved you! He’s waiting for you to give your life to Him. He gave His life on the cross for ALL Sinners…not just the ones who sit in church on Sunday.

This is a quote from a southern Baptist Pastor Adrian Rogers: “Holiness is not the way to Christ. Christ is the way to holiness.”

You cannot clean up your life without Him! Christ’s blood on the cross washed away the sins of those who believe and trust in Him. So if you are reading this and you haven’t already done it, I beg you to fall on your knees and repent from your sins, ask his forgiveness and trust HIM to do the rest. I’m not saying you won’t have weak moments, I’m saying when you do, pray for the Holy Spirit to work in you. The following Scripture should help you to realize that you’re not alone!

Romans 3:10-12 as it is written: There is no one righteous, not even one. 11 There is no one who understands; there is no one who seeks God.12 All have turned away; all alike have become useless. There is no one who does what is good, not even one.

Until you are born again, the Scripture you just read from Romans 3 describes the plight of mankind.

Being born again means giving up your old life to live a new life through Christ Jesus. Becoming a born again Christian might sound difficult, but God has made it easy for his faithful to come to him. By accepting Christ, you can come before God and be born again.

When we accept Jesus as our Savior, the Holy Spirit comes to dwell in us and we are covered by the righteousness of Jesus.

1 Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.

When the first man Adam disobeyed God, his sin became a DEATH PENALTY for the entire world! Then the second Adam (Jesus -Yeshua) the son of God, came to earth as a man, HE satisfied the DEATH PENALTY so those who believe and trust in Him don’t have to suffer eternal damnation.

John 17:3 This is eternal life: that they may know You, the only true God, and the One You have sent—Jesus Christ.

The Deceitful Heart

Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is more deceitful than anything else, and incurable—who can understand it?

According to Romans 7 Paul tells us that recognizing sin is the beginning of the battle (Satan doesn’t give up easily). If Paul, a chosen apostle of Christ, has a struggle with sin, just think about how difficult it must be and how we must give in completely to the Holy Spirit in order to be led away from the desires of the flesh.

Romans 7:18-23 For I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my flesh. For the desire to do what is good is with me, but there is no ability to do it. 19 For I do not do the good that I want to do, but I practice the evil that I do not want to do. 20 Now if I do what I do not want, I am no longer the one doing it, but it is the sin that lives in me. 21 So I discover this principle: When I want to do what is good, evil is with me. 22 For in my inner self I joyfully agree with God’s law. 23 But I see a different law in the parts of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and taking me prisoner to the law of sin in the parts of my body.

Do you continue in sin and grieve the Holy Spirit?

James 4:7 Therefore, submit to God. But resist the Devil, and he will flee from you.

Do you hate your sin? God Hates SIN too! But HE LOVES YOU!

Luke 15:10 Jesus tells us “there is joy in the presence of God’s angels over one sinner who repents.”

When you recognize your sin, do you ask forgiveness?

James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

Ephesians 5:8-11 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

1 John 1:5-6 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say, “We have fellowship with Him,” yet we walk in darkness, we are lying and are not practicing the truth.

1 John 3:6-7 Everyone who remains in Him does not sin; everyone who sins has not seen Him or known Him.Little children, let no one deceive you! The one who does what is right is righteous, just as He is righteous.

Keep this thought in the forefront of your mind if you’re not yet ready to give your ALL to Jesus – Yeshua today! The Gift of Grace will not last forever, the Scriptures tell us that there will be a day when it’s too late. Also keep in mind that today or even the next moment may be the last of your life…do you want to risk burning in HELL?

Matthew 25:41 Then He will also say to those on the left, ‘Depart from Me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the Devil and his angels!

Matthew 25:46 “And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

Revelation 22:11 Let the unrighteous go on in unrighteousness; let the filthy go on being made filthy; let the righteous go on in righteousness; and let the holy go on being made holy.”

What is GOD’S WILL for you?

Like Paul… are you willing to be a prisoner of the LORD?

Scriptures from HCSB – Holman Christian Standard Bible

What is God’s will for you?  Are you ready to accept His authority and fully cooperate with Heavenly Father?  Do you allow the Spirit of God to lead you and make you lie down in green pastures?  Do you walk through this world as an ambassador of Christ? Did you know that in order to follow the will of God and to walk His path, we must strive to be “worthy of God“?

As Paul said:

Ephesians 4:1-2 Therefore I, the prisoner for the Lord, urge you to “walk worthy of the calling you have received”, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, accepting one another in love,

Are you ready to answer the calling of the Lord to share HIS GOSPEL?

Do you only seek the Lord’s will according to your own will?

Do you walk in the freedom of your own self-will? The secular definition of freedom is the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint.

Jesus tells us in John 8:32 You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

Like a magnet, are you drawn to things that your “heart and conscious” tell you aren’t good for you or those around you?  Do you recognize these warnings are the Holy Spirit attempting to guide you away from harm bodily and spiritually?  You truly believe this one time won’t matter when you knowingly choose a path that leads you away from Salvation? After this one time, you’ll do better tomorrow?

WOE! WOE! WOE!

Hebrews 10: 26  For if we deliberately sin after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a terrifying expectation of judgment and the fury of a fire about to consume the adversaries.

Has Christ become Victorious in your life?

Have you allowed the crucifixion of the old man in YOU? Do you realize that true freedom is only achieved when Christ lives in You? According to what Paul tells us:

Ephesians 2:1-5 And you were dead in your trespasses and sins in which you previously walked according to the ways of this world, according to the ruler who exercises authority over the lower heavens, the spirit now working in the disobedient. We too all previously lived among them in our fleshly desires, carrying out the inclinations of our flesh and thoughts, and we were by nature children under wrath as the others were also. But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love that He had for us, made us alive with the Messiah even though we were dead in trespasses. You are saved by grace!

Hebrews 10:29-31 How much worse punishment do you think one will deserve who has trampled on the Son of God, regarded as profane the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know the One who has said, Vengeance belongs to Me, I will repay,] and again, The Lord will judge His people. 31 It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God!

Our daily struggle is with the powers of this world! Satan, Lucifer, that Devil of old – the prince of darkness has been leading this world towards hell from the beginning in the Garden of Eden when he seduced Eve in Genesis 3:4 convincing her that “she surely would not die”. Then Adam being seduced by Eve followed suit and disobeyed God. The first lie on earth brought us sin and more sin and today we can see the rotten fruit of it’s results. Since then, because of his pride and jealousy, Satan has wreaked destruction of mankind in every aspect of our existence; from the lies about evolution and millions/billions of years, the desire for corrupted entertainment (music, movies, etc), to wanton desires such as new cars, new clothes, new house, new husbands or wives -NEW! NEW! NEW! There are prosperity preachers today who preach wealth instead of Salvation! Sexual immorality thrives in an environment of “you have the freedom to do whatever feels good”! Murder of the helpless is accepted by the majority without even a blink! If you go on to YouTube, there’s false teachers and prophets aplenty! The USA probably has more Bibles per capita than any other country in the world and most of them are gathering dust.

For you to overcome, YOU must be willing to be restrained by Christ’s Spirit, start by reading your BIBLE and putting on the full armor of God and then PRAY! PRAY! PRAY!

Jesus Messiah – Yeshua Hamashiach revealed His Father to the world through His ministry on this earth.  Most assuredly, He revealed to us the Father’s LOVE for His Creation: Mankind. His willingness to allow His Son to sacrifice himself on the cross to save us from our sins it the ultimate gift of GRACE!

1 John 4:7-12 Dear friends, let us love one another, because love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, because God is love. God’s love was revealed among us in this way: God sent His One and Only Son into the world so that we might live through Him. 10 Love consists in this: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Dear friends, if God loved us in this way, we also must love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God. If we love one another, God remains in us and His love is perfected in us.

Romans 12:10-16 Show family affection to one another with brotherly love. Outdo one another in showing honor. 11 Do not lack diligence; be fervent in spirit; serve the Lord. 12 Rejoice in hope; be patient in affliction; be persistent in prayer. 13 Share with the saints in their needs; pursue hospitality. 14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep. 16 Be in agreement with one another. Do not be proud; instead, associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own estimation.

Hebrews 13:1-3 Let brotherly love continue. Don’t neglect to show hospitality, for by doing this some have welcomed angels as guests without knowing it. Remember the prisoners, as though you were in prison with them, and the mistreated, as though you yourselves were suffering bodily.

Ephesians 3:1-4 Therefore I, the prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk worthy of the calling you have received, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, accepting one another in love, diligently keeping the unity of the Spirit with the peace that binds us. There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to one hope at your calling—

Isn’t it awesome that Paul loved Jesus – Yeshua and his fellowman enough to suffer imprisonment and physical pain to share the Gospel. As children of God and brothers and sisters In Christ…sharing the Gospel isn’t a suggestion, it’s a command:

Matthew 28:19-20 Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

It’s believed that Paul was a prisoner in Rome when he wrote Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians and Philemon. Although, he was a prisoner of the Roman government, he considered himself a prisoner of the Lord because he was following the “will of God” to preach the Gospel of the Christ to the world.

***My next blog will expand upon Paul’s ministry.

Eternity is Only a Heartbeat Away!

HEAVEN? or HELL?

Where do you want to spend ETERNITY?

I’m using Scriptures from my favorite translations the KJV and HCSB.

Every breath we take and every heartbeat brings us closer to the end of this life on earth and to eternity with our Lord Jesus. It’s completely understood by the followers of Jesus the Messiah – Yeshua Hamashiach (Hebrew) that Eternity is time without an end, a state of being that comes after death and never ends. Eternity will be spent with Jesus in the New Heavens and New Earth. Some synonyms of Eternity are everlasting and forever. Paul tells us in Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Eternity is a difficult concept for a human to put into words, especially the concept of an Eternal God. Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: We need to realize that this is difficult because in many ways, it’s beyond our understanding…with all of the wonderful attributes of God, this is also one of His characteristics…if He were anything less, He wouldn’t be God. Although we are made in His image, we have no concept of who He is… https://jesusamazinggrace.com/2020/04/13/knowing-god-and-obeying-the-gospel-pt-1/

Theologically, “eternal” means “not within any time limit, outside of time and existing without a beginning or end, like spirit”. If God wasn’t eternal in nature, we would be condemned to a life of sorrow and hopelessness. The Bible says in Deuteronomy 33:27 (KJV) The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.

As far a I know, the Bible – the Word of God is the only source in this entire world that focuses on eternity. Jesus tells us in John 5:24 “I say emphatically that anyone who listens to my message and believes in God who sent me has eternal life, and will never be damned for his sins, but has already passed out of death into life.”

Isaiah 44:6 This is what the Lord, the King of Israel and its Redeemer, the Lord of Hosts, says: I am the first and I am the last. There is no God but Me. Isaiah 57:15 (KJV) For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Eternal is the state of God our Heavenly Father, He exists eternally and in other words, He’s “Infinite”: In the first and last chapter of Revelation Jesus reminds us: Revelation 1:8 I am the Alpha and the Omega, saith the Lord God, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty. Revelation 22:13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

John 17:3 This is eternal life: that they may know You, the only true God, and the One You have sent—Jesus Christ. Without the promise of eternity, the Gospel would not have the appeal that it has for man, who’s made in the image of God. Although it’s a concept totally beyond our understanding, it’s in our nature to desire it. It’s a fact that the majority of human beings don’t want to die and we have the fervent desire not only to live, but to live forever. Until man has Jesus Christ in his heart, soul and mind he’s afraid of death; it hangs over him every waking moment of his life and for some, it gives him terror when he sleeps. The belief of eternity, that is communicated to us in the Bible about God, in my opinion, is the most important concept in theology. Those of us who believe in God have no problem with the fact that He is eternally existent. We totally believe this concept without really understanding exactly what eternity is..those of us who believe, do so out of our love and faith in Jesus! Psalm 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

I believe eternity means that when we leave this sin ridden world behind and go to be with Jesus, we’ll be completely liberated from the state of hopelessness and sin and in the twinkling of an eye, we will be totally and finally free.

1 Corinthians 15:51-52 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Christians look forward to the return of Jesus and finally experiencing true joy; but in the meantime, until he comes, it also means keeping your eyes on Jesus, even when it feels like the storms of life and the waves that rage beneath your feet will drown you. Peter recognized this when he attempted to walk on water…he was doing good until he took his eyes off of Jesus, then he began to sink into the Sea of Galilee. Heaven (KJV verses)

Jeremiah 3:17 At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the Lord; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the Lord, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.

We join Jesus in Heaven

The word Heaven in Hebrew means the dwelling place of God…Heaven is where the throne of God is, it’s where Jesus and the angels reside. It’s where we will go when our mortal bodies are changed into Spiritual bodies like Jesus’s body after resurrection and we’ll stand before the judgement seat of God with Jesus as our mediator.

John 14:2-3 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Hebrews 12:22-23 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, 23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

1 Corinthians 2:9-10 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

We may not consciously be able to see, hear or imagine Heaven, but since the Holy Spirit now lives in the Christian, there’s no doubt that we do know because the Spirit knows… and it will be “beyond” the most beautiful scene or flower, the most beautiful music, the most beautiful ANYTHING will not even come close.

Our bodies will no longer know pain, sickness, heartbreak or sin of any sort!

1 Corinthians 15:42-49 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam (Jesus) was made a quickening spirit.46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.47 The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

Philippians 3:21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Revelation 7:15-17 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. 16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. 17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

Revelation 21:10-11 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;

Revelation 21:19-21 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; 20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst. 21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.

HELL

Jesus warns about HELL!

Jesus talks more in the New Testament about Hell (Hades, Gehenna, Death) than anyplace in the Old Testament. Matthew 5:22 when he warns “whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell [gehēnna] of fire.” Yes, hell is “the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels” Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: but also for those who join them in their rebellion against God Matthew 11:20-24 Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not:21 Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.22 But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you.23 And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.24 But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.

The horror of hell is such that Jesus says in Mark 9:43 “if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than with two hands to go to hell, to the unquenchable fire”. For those who do not enter the narrow door of faith and repentance in Jesus Luke 13:24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. It’s a place of weeping and gnashing teeth awaits them Luke 13:27-28 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.

In Luke 16:23-24 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

Matthew 23:33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? Jesus talks about HELL as a place of torment…it’s not just the name given to the Valley Hinnom near Jerusalem. The Valley of Hinnom is where the Pagan’s sacrificed the babies/children and later became the garbage dump of Jerusalem where pungent smoke rose day after day with the burning…https://jesusamazinggrace.com/2020/03/23/lets-not-soft-peddle-hell/

Whether you go to Heaven or end up in Hell, it’s a choice…not God’s choice, but your choice! All you have to do is repent from your sins, believe Jesus is the Son of God, that he lived, died and rose from the dead. Trust in the blood of Jesus which covers you in His righteousness and obey God.

The “LAW” is the “KEY” to the “Knowledge of Sin”

I’m using the King James Version for my quoted Bible verses in this blog.

Have you ever lost your keys? That without the key, you couldn’t open the door to your home or start the engine on your car? You can’t open that chest or box where you keep special things. In other words, in most cases a key is a very important thing to have and definitely something that you want to keep track of and NEVER lose! Key has many definitions according to how you use it, but in this definition of key…it’s a small metal intricately shaped object that’s used to open or close a lock.

What about the key to salvation? What does that key look like? In the past 100 or so years have we lost the key to opening the door to salvation? I say YES if you’re not sharing with people their need to repent as well as their need to be “born again”. What does it take to enter in and be saved? The Key to Heaven isn’t a physical object that opens the door, it’s the power of the Holy Spirit that we receive when we are “born again” and we proclaim Jesus as our Savior and then follow his command to to share the Good News of His Kingdom with the world…John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

It’s a fact that in John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. In John 10:9 Jesus says “I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.”

Now begs the question…can we get into the Kingdom of Heaven without repenting of our sins? I don’t think that’s the way it works. Jesus tells us in Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

When we share the Gospel of the Kingdom, we have to explain to people that although they have sinned, that Jesus paid the price for their sin. That doesn’t mean that they have a free pass…that all they have to do is simply believe… as it says in James 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. Do you have the Key to the Kingdom of God? If not, do you know where and how to find it? https://jesusamazinggrace.com/category/the-plan-of-salvation/

If we don’t tell people what a sin is are we doing them a favor? How will they be able to repent from it? Do the words REPENT and SIN actually cause people to run away instead of turn away? This is where the law comes into play and you must tell them: NO ONE who has lived or ever will live, except Jesus the Messiah – Yeshua Hamashiach (Hebrew Translation) has kept the law; He was sinlessthe unblemished Lamb of God who gave His life in order to pay your fine. When we repent from our sins and believe that Jesus is the beloved Son of God and that he died and rose again from the dead and therefore covers us with his righteousness, then the law can no longer kill us. John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. Jesus will save us from our sins! That’s why He came to earth and that’s why He died for us…He loves us that much! Jesus and Father in Heaven made this plan from the foundation of the earth that HE would have to save us…WOW…what an AWESOME gift from an AWESOME GOD!

1 Corinthians 15:55-57

O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

REPENTING which means to “turn away from” is the KEY to opening that door. The Law helps us to recognize “exactly” what it is that God expects of us. Romans 3:20 For no one will be justified in His sight by the works of the law, because the knowledge of sin comes through the law. This isn’t legalism that I’m talking to you about, I’m telling you that your faith in Jesus will make you want to turn away from your sin and when you do, with the help of the Holy Spirit you will sin less and less. John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; The Holy Spirit will come to live in you. James 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Jesus spoke in many parables to His disciples…here are 3 parables that he spoke about repentence and how He and His Father have provided the way, the truth and the life:

-The parable of the shepherd seeking the lost sheep illustrates how God seeks to bring those who are spiritually lost into His Kingdom.

-The parable of the woman looking for a lost coin illustrates the diligence with which you should seek for those lost in sin to guide them to the Kingdom.

-The parable of the lost son illustrates the principle of repentance through which you can gain your rightful place as an heir of the Kingdom of God.

James 2:5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?

A lot of the churches today say that the law is dead that it was nailed on the Cross and yet they also quote the scriptures that say that God never Changes and Jesus is the same today, yesterday and forever and that Jesus is God. I don’t think we can have it both ways! So why wouldn’t the law mean just as much today as it ever meant, afterall, the Law encompasses Love and Morality. The death of Jesus on the Cross didn’t give us a free license to sin – God Forbid!

The following Scriptures tell us about the gift we will receive as we humble ourselves before our fellowman and our Father in Heaven…as Jesus was our Humble servant on this earth; he’s teaching us the way and the truth so that we may find eternal life through Him. I highly suggest you read ALL of Matthew 5, and without saying please read ALL of the Bible, both New and Old Testament. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

Matthew 5:1-18 ~ Sermon on the Mount

And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:

And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,

Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
